Well, we hope that by taking a more in depth look at the shotgun and its capabilities, we can show how a shotgun is perhaps more of a capable and versatile weapon than most think of it as. For example, I don't think its too much to say that most people think of the shotgun as a scattergun and nothing more. However, shotguns can be loaded with pretty much anything that will fit in the shell. So that allows for an extreme amount of versatility in the field. In other words, that gun will be able to do a whole lot more than just one task. Need a wide spread? Birdshot. Looking to deal an obscene amount of damage? Buckshot! Need to go longrange? Rifled barrel and slugs. All of this creates a gun that is apt to a lot more different types of shooting scenarios than just the AR-15.
