First time hearing band maid black hole reaction (live version) with analysis and in-depth breakdown from a professional musician. Aside from having my mind blown by these all female Japanese rock band, we learn about some of the music theory elements. Some insane cross rhythms, which as a guitarist is really fun to try to figure out. I have to say even as a guitar tutor, this had me stumped on first listen, in hindsight it reminded me a wee bit of the Mars Volta, am I alone in that?? Perhaps, not my best analysed band-maid track, but you can probably understand why! Yeah, so alongside the standard reacts format, there's also a lesson explain and analysing the manic intro focusing on how the parts melt together. Being a multi-instrumental limited to things with strings, I've programmed drums so hopefully we can better analyse and understand this song!
