World's Best Sea Kayak camping: dolphins, beautiful Isle of Skye Cuillin, Loch Scavaig, Scotland

It has been described as the best day's kayaking in the world, and no argument from me. Departing Elgol for the Black Cuillin mountains of Skye, via Soay Sound, we encountered - and paddled with for 20-25 minutes - a pod of 20-30 bottlenose dolphins. Camping in the heart of the Cuillin mountains, the weather was 'perfect' - not often the case in Skye - and quite frankly, life doesn't get any better! A marvelous trip! We had planned a third day paddling, but unfortunately, the weather turned nasty.
