We are in for a great powertrain for the 2024 Lexus lineup. And among this lineup, there is the 2024 Lexus LBX, which is quite the car. It is like the luxurious version of the Toyota Yaris Cross. After all, they do share the same platform. The 2024 Lexus LBX is an amazing car, and it comes with all the features you would expect from other Lexus vehicles. However, that doesn't mean that it will be an easy win for the 2024 LBX. The world of subcompact SUVs is already dominated by cars like the BMW X2, Range Rover Evoque, Audi Q2, and Mercedes-Benz GLA. All these cars give a taste of what luxury feels like if buyers were to go ahead and pay the premium. However, this doesn't mean that Lexus doesn't have a chance. What is it that they have to offer? Given that this is a Lexus, you might expect it to be a bit on the higher side when it comes to pricing. However, that is not the case with this new ride. The 2024 Lexus LBX is expected to come with a price tag starting at $30,000 and going all the way to $35,000. The price will be determined by the options and trim levels. With this price tag, Lexus’s baby SUV is set to take on other rivals such as the Peugeot 2008 and the Mini Countryman, which are all similarly priced. However, this doesn’t mean that the LBX is a run-of-the-mill SUV. In fact, it is a game-changer in this segment, all of which is owed to the host of luxury features it has to offer. A Lexus wouldn’t be a Lexus if it didn’t offer the perfect balance between luxury, simplicity, and elegance. After all, that is what makes Lexus one of the best cars out there. Let’s just say that when it comes to the LBX, it checks all these boxes, proudly carrying on the signature Lexus’s “Resolute Look” design. However, this one has a slightly different approach to the car’s front end. Furthermore, thanks to its aerodynamic form and smooth contour lines, the side profile now seems more poised and elegant. On the other hand, the new LBX has stayed true to Lexus’ sleek L-shaped head and taillights, which, when you add in the rear spoiler, give the car a sporty profile in an understated manner. As you move towards the inside, you find a rather unclustered yet subtle interior space and dashboard. The LBX does a great job at carrying on the “Tazuna Concept.” This new design incorporates a large 12.3-inch fully digital infotainment screen to ensure that the driver has all the necessary information through easy access and minimal distractions. On the other hand, we cannot ignore the prominent 9.8-inch touchscreen that seamlessly integrates with the interior to make way for a more organized and minimalist center console area. When it comes to the materials used inside, we are talking about meticulously stitched high-quality synthetic and semi-aniline leather. All the material used inside is of high quality, and it is nothing short of refined elegance. There is a great blend of charcoal-themed Tsuyusami trim inlay and leather upholstery, all of which help maintain the luxurious feeling and elevate the driving experience to new heights. See you in early 2024 Lexus is planning on releasing the car on the UK market in late 2023. And even though there are signs of the baby luxury SUV joining the Australian market as well, the American market has yet to receive a green light from the company. Reservations and full orders have already begun, as deliveries are expected to start taking place in March 2024. For the UK market, they will have a range of four different trim levels to choose from. And while the Elegant and Relax models focus on the graceful and exquisite dynamics of the car, the remaining models, Emotion and Cool, are said to fuel the SUV with a lively and engaging character.
