My name is Ashar Syed, an engineering student at the University of Toronto, aka the good looking dude in the video. I am working with a number of my university friends and peers in releasing more interviews like these where we offer advice related to admissions and discuss our academic holdings, program overview, university environment and so on to help you understand what you are getting into when applying to these universities and give you an insight of what to expect. Due to Covid-19, choosing universities can be more difficult due to safety measures including the cancellation of in-person tours, and limitations of direct networking with current university students who can offer first-hand experiences and advice. These videos aim to overcome these barrier and offer as much information as possible. A gentle reminder, the University Interviews are in no way a concrete depiction of what to expect, but just a subjective view based upon our experiences to date.
