The British National Party also qualifed for a European election broadcast, in which they presented a version of post-war British history which attempted to justify their stance. It results in a difficult presentation in which they both seek to exploit, and distance themselves from, racial politics. This was the height of then Party Chairman Nick Griffin's bid to get the party accepted as a mainstream legitimate voice. Transmitted 26 May 2009.
