The majority of the ambient floats and randomized motions have existed for a long time (We see Glint use it back in Season of the Lost) but for this release I was able to expand on it thanks to the introduction of Fynch. I'll admit finding the "character" for the hive ghost took some time and I think there's still some exploration to be done. The hull twitches were easy to nail down but the fin twitches were just not feeling right. At first I tried moving individual pieces of the rig but it felt too broken. Once I started messing with the uniform controls of the rig, it started to make more sense. One noticeable difference between the hive ghost and normal ghost is the reduction in back fin "calculations" on the hive ghost. What looked like a normal rotation on the normal ghost, moved the back fins too dramatically. It was too jarring so I reduced them.
