This is a required ingredient for two of the game's strongest weapons - Kumbha (1 handed Katana) and Tourensol (Greatsword). For each Gemsteel you will require: 2 x Damascus Steel 2 x Hell-Gate's Flame 1 x Scarletite You need 5 Gemsteel to craft both weapons although you get one from Montblanc after recruiting eight Espers. This video is solely focused on attaining the Gemsteel but keep an eye out for future episodes for the weapons. In 2007 the International Zodiac edition was released (in Japan only), and this version of the game included a more traditional job-based system and a new battle areana.
