Situated on the west bank of the River Camel estuary on the north coast of Cornwall, the civil parish and fishing port of Padstow is a popular holiday destination offering relatively easy access to local beaches along the River Camel, like St George's Cove, while also being close enough to destinations such as Wadebridge, Bodmin, Newquay and the Eden Project for day trips. Our walk begins across from the luxury boutique accommodation, Padstow Harbour Hotel, and descends down Station Road to South Quay, home to Rick Stein's Fish & Chips. Continuing along on Riverside, we explore the harbour, soaking up the lively atmosphere before joining the South West Coastal path traversing the Greens of Padstow and ending up at St George's Cove.
