Finally I matched the world record on Wii Sports Resort | Golf (18 Holes) with a score of -27! I am just the third person to have succeeded it. It happened on the 22 July 2021. There is a leaderboard online (https://www.speedrun.com/wsrce#Lowest..., which is quite incomplete. But you can find a more detailed leaderboard on the Wii Series Speedrunning Discord server (  / discord  . Some comments and thoughts on the individual holes: Hole 1: Classic Eagle like I did already hundreds of times. I restart if I don’t eagle H1. Hole 2: With this wind and flag position an relatively easy eagle. Unfortunately the power just wasn’t enough Hole 5: I went for the driver chip. If you hit the flag, the ball drops dead into the hole or like in my case to the ground. Its hard to estimate the correct amount of power so I try this rarely. (Shoutout to Benson for sharing his recommendations on the Wii Series Speedrunning Discord server). Hole 6: Highlight. Hole 9: I reached the green with the second shot, but my putt was pretty bad. The fact that I missed a putt prove that a -28 is definitely possible! Hole 15: Highlight. Until this point this run didn’t even had world record potential, I even might headed to this hole with a better score a few times. Hole 16: I aimed for the first shot to just miss the first tree and the sand. Luckily the ball just touched the sand and slowed down a little bit, so I got an even better position on the green. Hole 17: The most feared hole. My first intention was to go for the putt, but luckily I changed mind and went for the wedge. Hole 18: I knew that an albatross would tie the world record. It was extremely lucky that I got no wind. When you see how I practice my second shot, you will notice that I initially aimed for a little bit more power than I got in the stroke. So this was again really lucky!
