Is it worth it to pay $40 for a business class train to travel in style from Kuala Lumpur to Penang? It depends on many things, but we hope today's video will help you figure out what option is best for you! ★ HERE ARE ALL THE WAYS YOU CAN GET FROM KL TO PENANG: 1. BY BUS: ($8-$13) You can book your bus tickets here: - Regular Bus: https://www.easybook.com/en-my ($8) - Luxury Bus: https://www.aeroline.com.my/ ($13) 2. BY TRAIN: ($20 or $40) You can book your train tickets here: https://booking.baolau.com/en/ *Make sure to book your tickets in advance and check for national holidays. These trains can be sold out weeks in advance! 3. BY CAR: You can always rent a car and drive yourself up there. We only rented cars once and it was $38/day. Just keep in mind that you might have to return the car in the same city where you picked it up. Also, gas is cheap and they drive on the left side of the road in Malaysia. 4. BY PLANE: (some flights start at just $8) Head to Airasia.com or Skyscanner.com to search for the cheapest flights from KL to Penang. Air Asia is a great resource for booking cheap flights throughout the many parts of Asia. After you find which airline you will be flying with, book your tickets directly with the airline of your choice through their website. Please read the baggage restrictions since the rules are different than in the US.
