With all this wet weather around, snakes are still on the move looking for shelter and food. They do this by moving around and feeling the objects around them looking for a way in to shelter which can end up being a family home, just like this one in Diddillibah! The family did the right thing by closing up all the doors and keeping people and pets inside. They watched from a safe distance and captured this incredible footage of a massive Eastern Brown Snake sussing out its surroundings. The wet weather today seemed to be clearing and the snakes certainly did come out to play. We have had a bunch of calls for snakes on the move today and I am sure it will be a busy night too.
