We know from experience that installing crown molding can get complicated, so follow our home renovation tips and hacks for getting the project done! #homediy #finishingtouches #homerenovations #homeimprovementprojects #howtohome CAPTIONS: " hey what's up guys it's Levi and this how-to I'm going to give you some tips on installing crown molding so the first thing that we're going to look at is the spring angle of crown molding that's the installation angle from wall to ceiling that it's installed at you're going to want to find that first if you already have crown molding up if you don't I recommend using a crown that is a 45 degree angle because that's going to make installation the easiest next thing that we're going to do is make four templates so after we found our spring angle you can use the angles on this little cheat sheet here to make your templates but we want to be able to cut our crown molding flat on the miter saw as opposed to cutting it at an angle because if you try to cut crown molding at an angle on a miter saw you're going to get inconsistent angles so we're going to lay our crown molding flat and we're going to adjust the bevel and the angle on our miter saw in order to get our Cuts so you'll see that I have four templates those four templates are for the two inside corners and the two outside corners "
