A lot of stuff happened recently to our GOTY developers: Momoi and Midori had their birthdays, a new main story (JP server) was updated in the game, and Alice was in the main poster for the Blue Archive festival in Akihabara! Hope Yuzu gets the spotlight too someday :) Today's arrangement is 'Pixel time', the theme for the game development department. This track is always pleasant to listen to, the retro 8-bit sounds really represent the cozy feeling of the messy club room. I saw some covers of this song, but I wanted to try making a full transcription instead for for solo. I distributed the colors of the notes by imagining each character playing their part. The bass is played by Yuzu, steady but quiet; the chords by Alice(Arisu, Aris, however you want to call her), motivated but sometimes unpredictable; and the melodies by the twins, with their constant back-and-forth interaction. Starting from 1:23, I inserted solos for each 'person'. For those who are experienced in jazz, this will be a good part to add improvisation yourself!
