Traumatic Brain Injury Timeline Animation Charts Encephalomalacia

This TBI Timeline Animation was used to help The Law Offices of Arash Khorsandi, show how 23-year-old's encephalomalacia progressed after he was hit by a vehicle. Encephalomalacia is one of the most dangerous outcomes of TBI. It occurs when hemorrhages swell to such a severe degree that they interrupt cerebral blood flow, resulting in the irreversible death of brain tissue. This condition is extremely difficult to treat and impossible to cure because the brain tissue can never be regenerated. Brian Beecher, Esq., and Judd R. Allen, Esq., had plenty of evidence showing the progression of their client’s brain damage in the form of CT scans, MRI’s, and a tractography - but all of this black-and-white data looked somewhat ambiguous, subjective, and easy for the Defense to downplay in front of a jury. Mr. Beecher and Mr. Allen needed a visual presentation that would bring this radiographic evidence to life, make it easy to understand, chart the progression of encephalomalacia, and capture the irreversible neuropsychological impact this TBI would have on their client. We equipped them with a TBI Timeline Animation that would achieve the following visual objectives: 1) Recreate 3D models of the Plaintiff’s brain at each chapter of his experience - using CT Scans and MRI’s. 2) Chart the visual progression of the Plaintiff’s encephalomalacia from the initial point of impact to the irreversible death of brain tissue today. 3) Map the progression of hemorrhaging throughout each chapter to break down how each area of brain tissue progressively died. 4) Summarize the results of the tractography with three-dimensional visual context. The following animation maximized Mr. Beecher’s and Mr. Allen leverage heading into mediation by showing that they could clearly and effectively prove how this TBI literally and irreversibly choked parts of their client’s brain to death. The Defense agreed to settle for $5M. Read the Full Case Study: https://tinyurl.com/y5a3x24d See More TBI Visuals: https://tinyurl.com/y6dnbqxm
