4.5.23 / by Usman / JAMAICA, Queens - A police officer was shot in the leg by multiple suspects on Wednesday afternoon near a parking garage on 90-61 161st in the Jamaica section of Queens. The incident happened around 3:45 PM and left the officer injured. Police quickly responded to the scene and were able to apprehend one suspect. However, another suspect is still on the loose, and authorities are urging the public to come forward with any information that may lead to their capture. The injured officer was rushed to Jamaica Hospital, where they are currently receiving treatment.
