Join me as i set out to discover another set of mysteries around the former Hamlet of Ashopton. Once there was a railway built to construct the Howden & Derwent Dams, this was known as the Bamford & Howden railway and a great wooden viaduct was constructed to bypass Ashopton. Later we loo at how this may have been built when we discover the remains of a nearby Industrial railway buried beside the reservoir. Finishing off we find a peculiar doorway in the side of the hill.
