Because of this revolution Yara’s economy completely collapsed, and in 2014 his son Anton was elected as president, promising new economic stability with the creation of Viviro, a cancer treatment developed from Yara’s tobacco. This was Anton’s vision to “rebuild paradise.” However, Anton's methods of creating Viviro were completely corrupt, and he eventually ruled the land as a full-blown dictatorship.
