The Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade moved to Christmas Night for the first time in 1999 with a new format showcasing Disney Recording Artists as much as the parade. Walt Disney World is ready to celebrate the new millennium. Hosted by Susan Sullivan and Mitchell Ryan with Wayne Brady, recording artists included Harry Connick Jr, ‘NSYNC, 98 Degrees, SHeDAISY and James Ingram. Harry Connick Jr checks in at the Hollywood Tower Hotel. Disney Cruise Lines checks in with a holiday greeting from Castaway Cay. The Millennium Party is well underway at Epcot. ‘NSYNC visits the Millennium Village with 28 additional countries added to World Showcase for the festivities. The Tapestry of Nations Parade is in full swing, and Innoventions is ready to welcome the new millennium. We also get a look inside the Control Center for the new Illuminations 2000, the biggest nighttime spectacular yet; and we have all year to “Celebrate the Future Hand in Hand” and welcome the new millennium at Walt Disney World. The Main Street Electrical Parade is back at the Magic Kingdom. We get a look at Disney’s newest theme park when 98 Degrees visits Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Wayne Brady takes us backstage for the Aerosmith concert at Disney MGM Studios; he has a special limo and a group of friends with VIP Passes.
