A 'firenado' threatened properties while a waterbombing helicopter crashed on Saturday, as firefighters along the east coast of Australia tackled over 100 bushfires. Queensland state authorities issued an emergency warning around Bundamba, when a grass fire, sparked by a building blaze, rapidly advanced across dry grassland. Thousands of weary firefighters, who have been battling bushfires for a month, were on Saturday fighting nearly 100 blazes in New South Wales state.
