How to install steering wheel controls in a MN Triton [ DIY ]

In this quick video, I show you how we hooked up steering wheel controls from a GLX-R MN Mitsubishi triton into a GLX MN. I picked up the steering wheel controls from a local wrecker 12 months ago and finally got around to hooking it all up Please note, this how I did it in my 2011 MN GLX so results may be different in other MN triton models Steering wheel controls online: https://m.aliexpress.com/item/4000287... It's pretty easy to do in an hour or so on a weekend. all it takes is adding two wires from the black plug under the steering column to the aftermarket head unit via a jack plug or hard wired to the new headunit wiring loom. Powering the head unit back up 4:58 - Demonstration on the buttons working Something I forgot to include is once you have wired it all in, you will need to go into the head unit settings and program all of the 5 buttons on the steering wheel for it to work. Some units may be different to mine so you may need to refer to your specific manual that came in the box from the store. For the GLX-R model wiring up the buttons will be slightly diffrent to how it was shown in the video. instructions are below You will need to find the the Red/white wire in the factory dash wiring loom that was pluged into the old factory unit and join it to the positive wire on the jack plug/new unit wiring loom labled "Steering wheel controls" Next, locate the red/yellow wire in the factory plug that was with the Red/white wire and join it to the second wire left labled "Steering wheel controls". check both wires are joined correctly followed by turning on the head unit and finding the steering wheel controls setting and then set it up how the manufacturer specifies. This is a demonstration on how I did this to my vehicle.
