We're Leaving the Multi-Party Charter

After garnering more than 630 000 votes and being the biggest new party outside of MK in this election, ActionSA's Senate convened and commenced discussing the next course of action. In an effort to incorporate South African voices into its electoral campaign, the Party has started reviewing it. We will start this process right away to make sure that people who want to see change in our nation lead future campaigns. The Senate of ActionSA has discussed our future relations with other political parties. Through this process, it has been decided that ActionSA will withdraw from the Multi-Party Charter due to the grave violations committed by the parties who openly signed and ran on platforms that specifically prohibited collaboration with Moving forward, ActionSA will serve as a constructive opposition in the three legislatures that represent us and the National Assembly. We would wholeheartedly support any sensible and moral suggestions that are brought before our MPs on behalf of the people of South Africa. Similarly, ActionSA will have the most difficulty holding a government accountable when there is conflicting opposition when accountability is needed.
