Convert Old Slides and Negatives to Digital Images With Your Camera

Do you NOT have a good scanner, but DO have a good camera or are planning to get one? Then you may want to watch my video. You will see how to get superb results copying your old slides and negatives with a quality digital camera and macro lens. I use free tethering software made by my camera manufacturer to control the camera and upload the images. But if you can't use tethering software, just take your exposures with the timer delay function of your camera or with a remote shutter release, either cable or wireless. I want to give a special thanks to my friend, Randy Ternes, for giving me the idea to make my own setup to use my camera to digitize my slides and negatives and sharing his knowledge with me from his experience with his Fuji X-T3 slide copy setup. Please realize that this is JUST MY PROCESS. There are many ways to get the same job done, especially in Photoshop and Lightroom or Adobe Camera Raw. You might know a better way to do certain things. That's great. It is my hope that this video will motivate you to start this very worthwhile project and give you ideas of how you could do this with whatever camera you have.
