Parliament votes on motions regarding Committee of Privileges' report on Raeesah Khan

On Tuesday (Feb 15), Parliament voted on two motions relating to recommendations by the Committee of Privileges (COP), after the committee found former MP Raeesah Khan guilty of abusing parliamentary privilege by lying to the House repeatedly. The COP had proposed that Ms Khan be fined $35,000, and that WP chief Pritam Singh and vice-chair Muhamad Faisal Abdul Manap be referred to the public prosecutor for possible criminal proceedings for their roles in the affair.
