I owned a copy on a double cassette pack (along with Ghouls 'n' Ghosts), and my lasting memory of the game is the horrific multi-load. The constant rewinding of the tape whenever you run out of time meant the game was virtually unplayable; not much fun at all! I noticed that an EasyFlash cartridge release of the game was made available fairly recently, so I thought it was worth a shot. The prospect of spending time driving as opposed to loading meant I should be able to tick another game off my list of recordings. And I have to say, it's not a bad effort at all. Probe did a pretty good job in nailing the look and feel, and then there's Jeroen Tel's masterful sound track, making use of digital samples in addition to regular SID voices. For those wondering why the game appears to "skip" when going through certain checkpoints, this is where the game loads in the next section. Even on cartridge, this takes a few seconds to chug through, so I've edited these sections out of the video.
