My wife and I took a week off around Turkey Day and traveled 3 and half hours from Fort Worth to Jefferson, Texas. Annie and I enjoyed a calming respite in East Texas. One of the big draws of the region are the beautiful pine forests. Definitely. Not only did we camp at Lake O'the Pines, but we spent a day touring historic downtown Jefferson, Texas.
