In this short video, I unbox a Lorus Field Watch reference number RL483AX9. Lorus is a sister brand from Seiko, so they produce watches with Seiko hardware, with prices under the Seiko standards. The watch is definitely a good watch for the money, Seiko is trying to have a hold on the bottom market as well, as they started pushing their prices upstream. The watch has 42mm in diameter, and 13mm in thickness, with 49mm lug to lug and 22mm lug width. The watch comes with a very bad bracelet, so I put it directly on a nato to try it out. I think it is a good offering from Seiko, and I think Lorus is now competing successfully with budget brands, but I think that Casio, Citizen, and Orient offer much better watches for around the same budget.
