Finally Made it to Hanoi! (OMG I love this city) and first thing I am doing is a Hanoi street food tour in the neighbourhood I am staying in. Ngoc Ha! like me. Kevin I start off at Phở Bò Gốc Gạo for a bowl of Hanoi style beef noodle soup. While I was there I noticed that they had another dish that one of you recommended. @hdng3245 recommended I try a dish called Bún đậu mắm tôm. Vermicelli with fried tofu that is dipped into a salty and umami fermented shrimp paste. Be careful, it is extremely strong. https://maps.app.goo.gl/LWBpzvAWLmHz8... - Thủy Xèo 166B for a quick bite of Bánh xèo. Vietnamese pancakes stuffed with pork, shrimp and fresh veggies. Have I mentioned how much I love this area? - Cà phê Đặcsản. My favourite cafe I have found in these winding, bustling alley's of Ngoc Ha. Quick stop for a Vietnamese espresso and Vietnamese coffee. the Vietnamese coffee has a bit of sữa đá and is super refreshing.
