Whether it's because they are understimulated (hyposensitive) or overstimulated (hypersensitive). These 5 autistic stims are just a few broad examples of behaviours that an autistic person may exhibit. Stimming is not exclusive to autism as it appears in those with ADHD, Aspergers, anxiety etc as well as neurotypicals/non-autistics. Now I realise that these 5 autistic stims some autistic people may not do & that there are other types of stimming out there. I decided to cover 5 types of stims which the majority of autistic people show as this video is for people to identify autism stimming either for themselves/someone they know.
