Speaker Burn-In Noise to Break in New Monitors & Loudspeakers

This is a custom speaker burn in noise of full frequency audio, tones and sweeping low notes to help monitors and loudspeakers achieving their lifelong frequency response which changes slightly in the initial weeks or usage. While burn-in can be achieved by simply playing music, this noise stimulates full audio spectrum frequencies to get it done sooner. Brand new speakers have a frequency response that will change over the first 6 to 30 hours of use. These initial hours the materials are stretching and loosening then speakers settle at a performance and frequency response they will have for years and decades. Faster compliance is attained which is the ability of the speaker to return to it's center position with efficiency. And why bother? It takes a while for the listener to get used to new speakers' sound in the new room, studio, or editing bay, and and the changing frequency response adds confusion to the ear-speaker familiarization process. Once the speakers settle, better sonic decisions will be achieved during mixing and editing. Some people are in the camp of thinking that this is unnecessary. However, many Audio Engineer Society papers discuss the benefits and some high end manufacturers apply a burn in before the speakers leave the factory. Most companies do not of the time or resources to do this fast tracking process. The speakers will wear in either way over these initial hours. Tests have been done showing the speakers' frequency response and compliance remains stable for decades after this point so burning in old speakers is a moot point. Lastly, the process of burning in speakers has no detrimental effect on them as it it just audio. A medium volume is recommended around 65-75db which is equivalent to speech conversation. The video background is a cascade of kaleidoscoping cabinets, woofers and tweeters. Thanks for stopping by and having a listen.
