There's no extremely short opening battle, it's just straight into the real thing. It also takes place after all the other story modes have ended. And while this does say Jin, we're technically still Wei for a good chunk of this. However the only ones from Wei still alive is Sima Yi and Xiahou Ba, who are both considered Jin characters. The stage here is Hebei from DW6, I actually like it pretty well. We play as Sima Yi, who shares Zhuge Liang's moveset but has better EX and musou attacks. His musou is a grab so it's really effective. The stage is fairly straight forward, just follow what Sima Yi says to do and you'll pincer the enemy, then take down the castle.
