If you are following my beginner's guitar videos on YouTube, you may be at the stage now where you want to develop your sound even further. Guitar pedals and effects can be a really easy way to achieve this. However, there are hundreds of choices available, so a multi-effects pedal can be a really cost effective option for new guitarists. Here is a (very!) fast run through of the sound effects on the Zoom G1X Four, which would certainly be in the bargain basement category of effects pedals. Have a listen to the sounds and see if it is right for you. I am a completely independent YouTuber and this is NOT a review of the device nor is it in any way a demonstration of my playing skills. I literally whizzed through all 50 sounds in one take just to give you an idea of what it has to offer. Please be aware that the Zoom G1X Four has other features but in this video I am only focusing upon the preset sound effects. Also, the last ten effects (from 50 - Slash to 59 - Timmins) I made myself. Coincidentally, these are probably my two favourite patches. Read into that what you will...
