Gary Holt Signed And Gifted Me A Guitar!!! I had such an incredible day filled with so many special memorable moments all one day! I had the honor of meeting Gary Holt & Lisa Holt at their home yesterday and Gary Holt was showing me his guitar collections, his memorabilias and he let me try different guitars of his. While I was playing around his guitar collections, he brought one out and said "Look what it says at the back. It says To Maya" and he gifted me his guitar!!! That was such an unforgettable moment. I am there looking at this guitar god Gary Holt standing in front of me and personally handing over his guitar which he signed and said it's for me! Wow! I am still processing this and I haven't stopped smiling since then! But it didn't stop there. We went on to jam together and this is equally special because I have never jammed metal with anyone before other than my dad and the very first person I ever got to jam in my life was with Gary Holt!! Now this is another story I will tell forever. I also asked him many questions and he gave lots of information which gave me a huge boost and made me want to learn music even more! That is the effect that I got from this meeting with Gary Holt which I cannot describe. I don't know which is the best part - 1: Getting a signed guitar from my inspiration Gary Holt. 2: Getting to jam with him which is also the first time ever for me or 3: Getting to know Gary Holt so personally and experiencing being a close friend to the legend himself!
