As the Batacu fanfare brass band passed through the fresh produce market in Villeneuve-Sur-Lot we decided to that we. should start growing our own fresh produce and soon with our trees laden with plums, our potato patch bursting at the seam and our peaches popping the garden was becoming a proper fruit and veg plot.
