Motorcycle vacations or hiking journeys are not always sunshine and smooth pathways, so why do many people turn to these adventurous vacations? This is the topic I explored on my motorcycle journey. I took a solo adventure on my Triumph Bonneville SE on from New York City to the Adirondack mountain range (specifically the High Peaks region) and documented my solo motorcycle journey as I explored and camped in the High Peaks wilderness. The journey was full of road blocks, as trying to find remote dirt roads on the east coast is problematic due to the sale of public land to mining & gravel companies, as well as private land settled on many years ago. Regardless, the region is incredibly beautiful and features roads such as Whiteface Veterans' Memorial Highway, Route 73 through Keene Valley, and NY-86 along the Ausable river. On my way back to NYC, I stopped by Laconia's Motorcycle Week in New Hampshire to see some other custom motorcycles and ride with some friends. Say hi on Instagram   / chrisironhardt
