Swallowing problems (Dysphagia) are very common after a stroke. Almost half of people who have a stroke will have some difficulties in the first few weeks. Ruth had a stroke three years ago, leaving her swallowing difficulties and with some mobility problems. In this film, she talks about her experience and how she was encouraged by her family, other stroke survivors and the Stroke Association in finding variety in her diet.
