Really really REALLY (x1,000) excited to announce that this recital comes from the beautiful Arundel Cathedral, UK! This stunning catholic cathedral has a generous acoustic, incredible architecture and an awesome William Hill organ. 00:00 | Introduction 02:32 | Bach – Prelude and Fugue in D major BWV 532 14:02 | Schumann – Canon in B minor (from ‘6 Studien in kanonischer form’) 17:45 | Mendelssohn – Organ Sonata No 1 18:29 | - Allegro 24:57 | - Adagio 28:26 | - Andante recitativo 31:42 | - Allegro assai vivace 35:10 | Barber – Adagio for Strings 42:53 | Vierne – Final (from Symphony No 1) This was recorded in a closed and locked building, and the only other person on site at the time was the Dean of Arundel Cathedral who lives in an attached house. Cleaning and sanitising measures were used, and no other person was in the cathedral with me.
