The 1986 Cork 20 Rally was as usual an entertaining Event for both Spectators and Competitors alike,there was plenty Competition as always and after being pipped at the Post 12 months earlier Billy Coleman was back to turn the tables on his great Rival and Former Teamate Austin Mchale,Coleman was armed with the fantastic Rothmans Metro 6R4 while Mchale was again out in his trusty Manta 400,there were some nice stages laid on by Munster Car Club and the Weather behaved too,both Coleman and Mchale had there Car issues but Billy brought home the Metro in front of Austin Mchale this time with Frank Meaher in his Escort 3rd,Bill Connolly 4th in his Chevette HSR,Dan Daly 5th in his Datsun Violet and Frank O`Mahony finishing 6th overall in the unusual Sydney Meeke built Ford Orion,RTE/UTV did a report on Proceedings and again we thank Pat Sullivan Carrignavar for the use of this Great Footage,Enjoy.
