Un vieux morceaux de chêne largement fendu , très sec et de bonnes gouges seront nécessaire à la réalisation de cette pièce. Lorsque la pièce est creusé d'un seul coté ,un fort balourd se créer me limitant à 150 TPM max..je vous laisse imaginer le temps qu'il m'a fallu pour terminer cette œuvre... Une fois façonnée ,je procède à un intense brulage au chalumeau afin de noircir et de brosser profondément le bois et mettre ainsi en valeur les fentes . L’intérieur du vase est peint en noir mat.
