Missing Top Gear? Us too. So in this episode I reunited with two of Top Gear's pivotal creators: Richard Porter and Jim Wiseman. You may know Porter from the car-based drivel he posts on www.sniffpetrol.com or from his rantings with Jonny Smith on their podcast series Smith & Sniff - Jonny of @TheLateBrakeShow fame Porter was the script writer for the "best unscripted award" winning tv show called Top Gear where he turned his ferocious intellect into researching the latest car stories and inventing unkindnesses about the shows main character: The Stig, for whom Clarkson & co were merely side men. Wiseman was one of the creative lunatics who worked in the Asylum @ HQ from the beginning, shaping, planning and executing the impossible ideas that flowed from the ivory towers of the automotive hive mind. We all shared the awesome experience of working within the dysfunctional 'family' of Top Gear where anything was possible, in large part because Jeremy Clarkson and Top Gear's Exec Producer Andy Wilman had the vision and chutzpah to make the impossible, possible.
