There are hundreds of picturesque spots along the street and throughout the Vias (alleys) for you to take advantage of, and every store you encounter offers extraordinary, unequaled items for purchase. You’ll find the most upscale brands and the classiest people here on Worth Avenue. Additionally, Worth Avenue is only a few steps from the beautiful Atlantic Ocean and a public beach access! You may have to enter the avenue a few times depending on how crowded it is, but this is the best place to park! HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Did you know that Worth Avenue is named after General William Jenkins Worth? It was named in 1913 and was one of the first developed areas in all of Palm beach! The Vias were added later on in the 1940s, and I’m so glad they were! These pedestrian walkways are my favorite part of Worth Avenue because it feels like you’ve stumbled upon a Hidden Gem.
