NOTE: I improved this run by six minutes, you can watch the improvement here:    • Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex ...   This is my speedrun for Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex in 1:17:09, as timed from gaining control in the warp room to being warped out of the final boss arena. This isn't a good run at all, I lost ten lives in the course of this run - 2 on the second boss, 2 in 14, 3 in 17, 1 in 18, 1 in 25, and 1 on the final boss which was especially costly. Mostly it just exists to demonstrate my level strategies, which I think are mostly sound. The one glitch I take advantage of in this run is taking a hit to skip most of the very slow overhead sections - there's only two you can't skip this way: the first one in 17 (since the mesh is too high to jump back up to) and the first one in 22 (because for some reason the water works differently than the other voids in the game). On the rest you can simply run over the void, which looks very amusing. Also I'll never get that first boss luck again. :P
