How to Connect the PS4 Slim to a VGA Computer Monitor or VGA TV

Hi, this video shows you how to use the PlayStation 4 Slim Console on a old VGA Monitor without any HDMI ports. This same setup will apply to old Televisions without HDMI ports but on the TV you will not need separate speakers as the TV will have speakers built in already (unlike my old monitor) but you may need a long 3.5mm stereo lead or a 3.5mm jack to twin Phono lead (red and white RCA connectors) depending on the Audio Inputs on your TV. Or you could use the headphone jack on the DualShock 4 Controller. The picture is perfectly acceptable as on my old monitor it is outputting 720P (HD Ready) but your monitor may well be capable of 1080P(Full HD). It will not be as good as using a HDMI cable on a Full HD TV because using VGA is an analog signal rather than the better digital signal but is definitely usable.
