Well everyone, I finally did it. Here is one of MANY videos I got on the #purpletrain during my visit to London this May. These are the lifts that serve the new Elizabeth Line at the London Paddington National Rail Station. All these lifts are Kone EcoDisc, but have completely custom fixtures, chimes, indicators, and voices. The chimes sound like Toshiba or Mitsubishi, potentially hinting at the fact that MTR (Hong Kong’s transit operator) is contracted to run the Elizabeth Line. ‪@geofftech2‬ has a much more in-depth tour of this station, as well as all the other new stations on the Elizabeth Line.
