This is the representation of the unit from the patent 1329559 of Nikola Tesla, which is often known as the Tesla valve. This is the one-way valve without any MOVING parts that only favours the flow in one direction. The state of the art is to make use of the fluid momentum itself. According to the orientation of this simulation, the fluid flow from LEFT to RIGHT: the 'hard' way. The fluid momentum is intensely reduced by being split into two sub-streams, one of which will take a 180-degree turn and re-emerge with another stream after one obstacle. RIGHT to LEFT: the 'easy' way. The fluid flow easier without any considerable obstacle. I think this is a highly intelligent way to design a valve that has the advantage of no moving parts.
