𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄, 𝟓 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐: Defamatory comments about the political beliefs and/or patriotism of the celebrities featured in this video don’t last long here. In 11 years, I’ve deleted scores of such snipes. Not only do they go against the spirit of the song and this performance; they’re just dumb, clichéd, and as cookie-cutter as a gingerbread man. If your life is so meaningless and empty that you want to whine and gripe about a bunch of living and deceased “lib’rul elites” who sang a song after a national tragedy 21 years ago, that’s great. But go do it on Breitbart, not here. This goes for disparaging comments about the conservative celebrities featured in this video as well. Though no one commenting on this video in 11 years has made a peep about those celebrities’ beliefs (which should tell you who is and who isn’t insecure about their ideologies), I will delete such comments when and if they occur.
