Lexus GS300 radiator replacement DIY 2nd gen JZS160

A quick DIY showing how to replace the radiator in a JZS160 Lexus GS300, 1997 to 2004 models. You’ll need - a new radiator - I bought a brand new Koyorad off eBay for $250 - 5 litres of demineralised water - 4 litres of Toyota red coolant concentrate - $45 - a funnel - blue Loctite (medium strength) - two M12 bolts - a litre of transmission fluid that’s compatible with the A650E 5 speed auto - Toyota Type IV or equivalent Total cost = ~$330 AUD As far as I can tell, this is the original, factory installed radiator from 2002. The top tank is leaking and the plastic has turned brown, which seems to be common with Toyota radiators that are near their end of life. It's impressive that it’s survived almost 17 years and 286,000km (178,000 miles).
