British Airways A380 Economy Review

It's time to check out the economy class experience with British Airways aboard their Airbus A380! These aircraft have long been a firm favourite amongst travellers so it was great to get the chance to check out the economy experience aboard one with BA. Having taken delivery of their first A380 in 2012, I was keen to see what sort of shape the economy experience would be in onboard. Overall, an ok..ish experience. The service and catering were very passable by economy standards which does mark a slight enhancement from BA where on previous flights, the economy catering has been pretty poor. The biggest downside of the flight was undoubtedly the condition of the cabin environment on the 380's at the moment with no visible enhancements since delivery - it's just too long to leave aircraft interiors. There's a part of me which would blame covid but given the state BA let the 747's slide into through the back end of the last decade, they've sadly got form on this front. C'mon BA, sort it out!
