Budget Blown Small Block Build

Building a budget blown small block from the original 63,000 mile 350 SBC. We gave it a bottle brush hone, a fresh set of rings and bearings, Comp Cams cam, lifters, and springs, and a brand-used Weiand 177 Blower we picked up off of Facebook Marketplace. The engine received no machine shop work. I cleaned it honed the cylinders, lapped the valves, and put everything back together. I had about $2500 in the entire engine. That includes a SBC and Carb which are essentially free, a $100 Re-ring Kit from Summit, and I paid $2000 for the blower (never installed, still in the box). A boost retard ignition and wide band O2 will cast you another $1000 if yoy want to push the limits of the engine. It only makes about 400HP, but it looks and sounds great. Spending another $1000 on some good aluminum heads would easily take the engine into the 500HP range. No fuel injection, computers, or fancy wiring needed.
