"Me and Myself" is een project met instrumentale muziek van Ron de Wit. Alle instrumenten worden door hemzelf bespeeld. "Nachts scheint die Sonne" is een lied geschreven door Giorgio Moroder en Michael Holm. Het werd later bekend onder de titel "Son of my father" In 1971 verscheen van Moroder onder diens bandnaam "Giorgio" de single I’m free now met op de b-kant Son of my father (part 1). Die laatste is een Engelstalige versie van Nachts scheint die Sonne. De schlagerklanken hebben plaatsgemaakt voor de synthesizer. Als medeschrijver doemt dan Pete Bellotte op. In 1972 werd "Son of my Father" uitgebracht door de Britse popband "Chicory Tip" en deze uitvoering werd een hit. In Nederland behaalde de single de 4e plaars in de Top 40.
